ELLE deco!

We are on ELLE Deco! The bed and mirror are from our company's collection!
I received the first drafts from the advertisement I am going to put in a local mag for my fabrics collection. I think they are going into press next week!

Shop deco-Part II

This is a double bed with a mosquitonet, seen from the back, our breakfast table/console, beautiful oval "Hydra" table (this keeps reminding me of a Zulu shield!) and foot rest/stool on castors.

This is another little corner of the shop. Mixing orange with turquoise instead of olive as I had done for winter makes it so much more fresh.

This 7-drawer chest is among my all-time favorites. So practical and harmonious.

And for those of you wondering... Here is a view of our office at the back (where I get most of my blogging done, too!). Right in front is the sitting area for customers, writing/projects area for our children. A lovely, sturdy chestnut table and benches. I'd love to have a dining room fitted with these!

Shop deco

Yesterday we redecorated the shop. Although we are having some special offers right now in order to renew our stock in September, I think we did a pretty good job swapping things around.
This is one of my favorite corners. Girly, but not over the top. And the all natural beech wood- no chemicals, no varnish-, is great to the touch!

Cool and Hot

I love the organized chaos effect.
The warmth of the color.
The extravagance of the all over color scheme.
It must be so fresh in there in the summer, with closed windows to keep the fierce heat away.
Perfect for midday writing cum siesta.

Organising

This basket is so cheerful!
I'd put it next to a child's desk for those through away bits and pieces.
I'd keep my current mags in it.
I'd use it in the kitchen to store clothes napkins.

A new blog

I am starting this blog to keep my deco ideas, preferences and inspirations organized and close at hand. Happy blogging.
