Hello friends,
I hope your festive season is beautifully unfolding.
We have been skipping on duties most of this week.
We slept, we cooked, we visited family.
Today we watched on TV one of my favorite films, "Father of the Bride". You know how there are films you see again and again and always enjoy? Got me, both "Father of the Bride" films are classics.
Here is a song from the film I'd like to share with you.
On the Sunny Side of the Street
Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worry on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
To the sunny side of the street
Can’t you hear a pitter pat
And that happy tune is your step?
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street
I used to walk in the shade
With those blues on parade
But I’m not afraid
This Rover crossed over
If I never have a cent
I’ll be rich as Rockefeller
Gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street
I used to walk in the shade
With those blues on parade
But I’m not afraid
This Rover crossed over
If I never have a cent
I’ll be rich as Rockefeller
Gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street
Have a great time,
